Adelaide Airport Carpark, SA

Adelaide Airport Limited recently completed a $75M multi-level car park for 2000 cars. The car park is linked to the airport’s Terminal 1, by a multi-level bridge spanning the pedestrian plaza below. The bridge allows passengers to access the terminal without crossing any roads.

Project Design Brief

  • To ensure the access points for the external services are discreet, minimisingthe visual impact on the pavements
  • To provide secure enclosures for electrical and communication services

  • Paver infill cover and frame systems were supplied in various sizes

Benefits

  • The recessed cover allows for pavers up to 40mm deep
  • The cover has four (4) recessed socketed locking bolts made from high tensileM16 steel with protective plastic caps, eliminating dirt ingress
  • The 2mm steel edge provides a discreet frame for the pavers
